Marsha's Music Policies
Welcome to the Marsha's Music family!
Please take a moment to review our class policies, refund policy, privacy policy and center policies.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Marsha Melsheimer at 773-288-3815 or [email protected].
MAKEUP POLICY
If you miss your regularly scheduled Music Together® class for any reason, you may schedule a makeup class. Makeup classes can be scheduled with any teacher, in any age appropriate class, on a space-available basis. Makeups are unlimited within the same session! They must be taken during the current semester and cannot be "carried over" to the next semester. You may schedule your make-up class as soon as you know you are going to miss a class. We often see an end-of-semester rush, so try to schedule your makeups as early as possible to avoid disappointment. No credits or refunds will be issued for missed classes.
To schedule a makeup class, use our online Makeup Scheduler. You may search for a class by time, day, or location, and the scheduler will display the available options. If a given class is not displayed as an option for a makeup, it means all the makeup spots for that class have been assigned; please schedule for a different class or check back later to see if a spot becomes available. If you know you will not be attending a previously scheduled makeup class, please cancel it so the spot becomes available for another family.
HEALTH POLICY
The health of all classroom participants is important to us, so we take measures to ensure the cleanliness of our classroom and limit exposure to germs. We take time to sanitize our classroom space, instruments, and materials after each class with a child-safe cleaning solution. If your child and/or you are sick, please stay home from class and schedule a makeup and help keep everyone healthy.
CLASS CANCELLATIONS
Holiday closures will be announced at the beginning of each semester. Classes may be cancelled due to inclement weather, teacher illness, and for other extraordinary circumstances. You will be notified by phone and email if your class in cancelled. We will do our best to makeup any cancelled classes at the end of the session! Otherwise, a credit/refund will be offered if class is cancelled and not made up by us.
MARKETING
Marsha's Music occasionally uses photography/videography of classes and events for marketing purposes, including digital and social media. If your family would like to opt-out, please provide written notification to [email protected] or [email protected]. Without written notification, we will assume your family's comfort with our marketing policies.
PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY
Full payment is due with registration. If you need to withdraw before the semester begins, you will receive a full refund, minus a $25 administrative fee. If you need to withdraw after the semester begins, you will receive a partial credit towards another Marsha's Music semester (based on the number of classes left in the semester), minus a $50 administrative fee. In the case of unusual illness or circumstances that prevent a family from participating, credit may be issued towards another Marsha's Music semester or tuition may be refunded in part at the discretion of the director. We understand that sometimes unexpected things happen. Please note that non-attendance does not constitute a withdrawal from class. You must notify us if you wish to withdraw from a class. We are unable to offer tuition refunds unless we are informed of your intent to withdraw from a class.
FAM JAM REFUND POLICY
No refunds will be given as all proceeds benefit the Marsha's Music scholarship fund.
eGIFT CARD
Your eGIFT CARD is eternal! No expiration date, but we encourage you to use it within a year of purchase. No refunds.
