As a family in one of our Music Together classes, you and your child will play musically under the guidance of one of our trained teachers. Each weekly Music Together class offers a dozen songs and rhythmic rhymes, including fingerplays, small- and large-movement activities, and instrument play. Teachers present these fun musical experiences in ways that are informal, non-performance oriented, and developmentally appropriate for children. Come join us, and be part of a community of families sharing songs, movement, and instrument play.

Your Mixed-Age and Babies tuition includes a newly designed songbook with a CD and music download, and parent resources. Rhythm Kids® tuition includes a songbook with a CD, music download, and a djembe drum for inital enrollment.

Each Mixed-Age and Babies semester includes:

  • A new song collection every fall, winter, and spring for three years, presenting a rich tonal and rhythmic mix,  as well as a range of musical styles from lyrical to blues, from folk to boogie.
  • New professional recording with songs, rhythmic rhymes, instrumental play-a-longs, and tonal and rhythm patterns.
  • A newly designed, beautifully illustrated songbook to help you make Music Together® at home.
  • Periodic family newsletters and parent education resources on the national Music Together website.

MAKEUP POLICY
If you miss your regularly scheduled Music Together® class for any reason, you may schedule a makeup class. Makeup classes can be scheduled with any teacher, in any age appropriate class, on a space-available basis. They must be taken during the current semester and cannot be "carried over" to the next semester. You may schedule your make-up class as soon as you know you are going to miss a class. We often see an end-of-semester rush, so try to schedule your makeups as early as possible to avoid disappointment. No credits or refunds will be issued for missed classes.

To schedule a makeup class, use our online Makeup Scheduler. You may search for a class by time, day, or location, and the scheduler will display the available options. If a given class is not displayed as an option for a makeup, it means all the makeup spots for that class have been assigned; please schedule for a different class or check back later to see if a spot becomes available. If you know you will not be attending a previously scheduled makeup class, please cancel it so the spot becomes available for another family.

PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY
Full payment is due with registration. If you need to withdraw before the semester begins, you will receive a full refund, minus a $25 administrative fee. If you need to withdraw after the semester begins, you will receive a partial credit towards another Marsha's Music semester (based on the number of classes left in the semester), minus a $50 administrative fee. In the case of unusual illness or circumstances that prevent a family from participating, credit may be issued towards another Marsha's Music semester or tuition may be refunded in part at the discretion of the director. We understand that sometimes unexpected things happen. Please note that non-attendance does not constitute a withdrawal from class. You must notify us if you wish to withdraw from a class. We are unable to offer tuition refunds unless we are informed of your intent to withdraw from a class.

HEALTH POLICY
The health of all classroom participants is important to us, so we take measures to ensure the cleanliness of our classroom and limit exposure to germs. We take time to sanitize our classroom space, instruments, and materials after each class with a child-safe cleaning solution. If your child and/or you are sick, please stay home from class and schedule a makeup and help keep everyone healthy.

eGIFT CARD
Your eGIFT CARD is eternal! No expiration date, but we encourage you to use it within a year of purchase. No refunds.

CLASS CANCELLATIONS
Holiday closures will be announced at the beginning of each semester. Classes may be cancelled due to inclement weather, teacher illness, and for other extraordinary circumstances. You will receive email notification of class cancellations. Class cancellation notifications may also be left on our office voicemail, and posted on our website and social media. Cancelled classes will be made up at the end of the session.
